It used to work perfectly. During Mass, I could always count on Cheerios to distract my son for at least 10 minutes. Then he got smart.

The question we should be thinking about is where do we want to spend eternity? Being in complete solitary confinement…alone forever? Or partying it up with all the cool people—a.k.a. saints?

The word "discrimination," however, has an older meaning as well, namely, to draw a clear distinction between proper and improper, good and evil.

When we hear in the Bible that Jesus tells us to be perfect, it is almost too easy to dismiss it as being impossible. Who can be perfect?
