Learn about your faith and discover a natural method of family planning that goes beyond the physical. A three part course will be offered by the Couple to Couple League in Bismarck from 7:00 - 10:00pm on August 25, September 22, and October 20. The Society of St. Vincent de Paul 5K Friends of the Poor Walk will be held on Sunday, September 27. The walk begins at the Sertoma Park Community Center in Bismarck at 4:00 PM. Registration is at 3:30 PM, or you may pre-register at svdpbismarck.org. This is a noncompetitive walk/run to raise money for the poor in our local community. The Cathedral Knights of Columbus will provide a picnic lunch following the walk. There is no registration fee, but free will donations are much appreciated. Bishop Kagan will lead a holy hour on the eve of the N.D. March for Life on Thursday, Oct. 8 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. The public is invited to attend.

Take the opportunity to stand up for the unborn at the N.D. March for Life on Friday, Oct. 9. The day begins with Mass celebrated by Bishop Kagan at 10:30 a.m. at the Bismarck Event Center (use door A1) followed by the rally at the same location. Immediately following the rally will be the march from the Bismarck Event Center to the ND State Capital steps. The public is invited. Register at bismarckdiocese/ndmfl to help us ensure an accurate count for lunch. Bishop Kagan will lead a holy hour on the eve of the N.D. The Marquette Model (MM) system of NFP brings 21st century technology to NFP by using the ClearBlue Fertility Monitor in conjunction with other biological indicators of fertility to help couples understand and respect their fertility. Shaunda Brooke, BSN, RN will be hosting an online virtual introductory session on Tuesday, October 13th at 8:00 pm CT, followed by two individual online virtual sessions, dates TBD.
