This Jubilee Year is an opportunity to make pilgrimages or pious visits to designated holy places in order to give thanks to God, to strengthen the faith, and to make acts of reparation for our sins or the sins of others. It is also an opportunity to receive a plenary indulgence, made available in a special way during the Jubilee Year. For us in the Bismarck Diocese, you can obtain the jubilee indulgence by making a pilgrimage to the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck. During this jubilee year, several special Jubilee Masses have been celebrated at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. The next one will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 16 at 5:30 PM. Please consider making a pilgrimage and attending this special Mass.
