SEARCH for Christian Maturity is a weekend retreat experience sponsored by the Bismarck Diocese. The weekends are for high school sophomores through college-aged young adult. The program is both rooted in the Catholic faith and open to young people of any denomination or creed. SEARCH weekends are held five times a year and are held at the Badlands Ministries Camp just south of Medora, ND, a quiet remote setting in the North Dakota Badlands that provides a great opportunity to unplug from the daily rush and just get away. SEARCH provides an opportunity to think, talk, question and wonder about life and faith in an accepting and challenging environment. It is an opportunity to experience God and his family in a personal and real way. The weekend is youth and peer orientated… it is run by youth, to youth and for youth…all under the guidance of a team of adult mentors. Cost for the weekend is $75 all inclusive. Scholarships are available to help cover this cost of the weekend. The retreat starts on Friday evening and continues through Sunday late afternoon.
