St. Theresa German dinner Oct. 19 St. Theresa’s in Carson will host their annual German dinner at the Grant County Fair Building on Sunday, Oct. 19 from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. MDT. The dinner will include homemade sausage, fleischkeuchle, strudel, kraut nip, potato salad, rice, coleslaw, knoepfle and borscht soups, kuchen and blatchinda. There will also be children's games, a silent auction, midway booth and bingo from 1-2 p.m. Cost is $15 for adults, $8 for children ages 4-12 and free for children ages 3 and younger. Raffle tickets will be available for $2 each. Winners will be drawn at 2 p.m. Come early for Mass at 9:30 a.m. MDT. St. Theresa Church is located at 204 2nd Ave NE in Carson.
St. John in Minot dinner Oct. 26 St. John the Apostle in Minot is hosting their fall dinner and bake sale on Sunday, Oct. 26 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the parish hall. The menu is roast beef, mashed potatoes, gravy, corn, coleslaw, rolls, special pumpkin dessert, coffee and milk. Gluten free options available on request. Cost is $15 for adults and $8 for children. Children under six years old eat for free. Take-out dinners will be available.
St. Mary’s fall festival Nov. 1-2 St. Mary’s in New England is hosting their fall festival on Nov. 1-2. On Saturday, Nov. 1, join the fun for “Casino Night” at the Memorial Hall on Main Street in New England. Doors open at 6 p.m. for casino fun with blackjack, craps, roulette, war, spin wheel, bingo and pull tabs at 7 p.m. Each guest starts with $10,000 in play money. At 9 p.m., the top three chip leaders win prizes. Tickets are $50 per person. This event is for age 21+. Enjoy Hors d'oeuvres, cash bar, clergy Calcutta, live and Irish auction. The first bingo session starts at 2 p.m. and the second session at 3:15 p.m. Both sessions have a guaranteed $500 blackout.
