The afflictions we struggle against can lead us actively to surrender and accept where we are, even as we turn to the One who sees all things and knows the specifics of our situation better than we do.

The rosary ultimately inclines our hearts to desire holy Communion with Jesus, all by the powerful help of Mother Mary.

Let’s pray for wisdom, courage and truth in our leaders and in our communities as we grapple with these difficult issues in the wake of another school shooting.
