The St. Serra Vocations Apostolate of Bismarck-Mandan is having their annual fundraising breakfast and bake sale for religious vocations on Sunday, Sept. 21 at the St. Mary’s Academy cafeteria (1025 N. 2nd St.). The meal is served from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. The menu includes pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, coffee and juice. Soft serve ice cream will also be available with an assortment of toppings. Cost is $10 for adults; $5 for children (10 and under) and free for children under age 3. There will also be a bake sale. Donations are welcome for the bake sale and can be dropped off on Saturday, Sept. 20 between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Search for Christian Maturity is a weekend retreat experience which provides youth an opportunity to think, talk, question and dive deeper into their faith. The weekends are for any high school or college age person at least 15 years old. The program is both rooted in the Catholic faith and open to young people of any denomination or creed. Search weekends are held five times throughout the year at the Badlands Ministries Camp just south of Medora. Cost for the weekend is $75. Partial scholarships are available. Weekends for the 2025-26 season are: Oct. 10-12; Nov. 14-16; Jan. 16-18; Mar. 6-8; and Apr. 17-19. Find more information at bismarckdiocese.com/search1.

A remembrance Mass will be celebrated by Bishop Kagan on Wednesday, Oct. 15 at 5:30 p.m. at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit. All are welcome to attend, especially parents, grandparents and siblings who grieve the loss of a child resulting from miscarriage, stillbirth, abortion or early infant death. October is pregnancy and infant loss awareness month and Oct. 15 is designated nationally as pregnancy and infant loss remembrance day.

The public is invited to the Red Mass on Monday, Oct. 20 at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit at 5:30 p.m. This Mass celebrates with those involved in the administration of justice—judges, attorneys, law professors, law students and government officials.

The public is invited to attend the Bismarck Diocese’s annual White Mass on Monday, Oct. 27 at 5:30 p.m. at Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Bismarck. The special Mass honors healthcare professionals, active and retired.

Father Benjamin Wanner, at St. Joseph in Williston and Father Gregory Crane, at St. Patrick in Crosby, will serve as spiritual directors for a pilgrimage to Rome taking place Nov. 13-22. The trip, “Ten Days of the Shrines of Italy: Rome, Florence, Assisi,” is open to anyone in the diocese. The pilgrimage will also feature a papal audience with Pope Leo XIV.
