The University of Mary will host a two-day seminar presented by the National Catholic Bioethics Center titled "Catholic Health Care Ethics: A Tradition of Compassion and Care for the Human Person" on Aug. 8-9. This event is open to all who are interested in current issues in bioethics—including topics such as stem cell research, reproductive health and end-of-life care—explored through the lens of Catholic teaching. Beginning Experience, a non-denominational peer ministry, is offering the 10-week session called "Coping with Life Alone."
